Firstly, a very big thank you to all those who attended our series of meetings…
It’s not just the start of a new year but the start of a new decade, and in conveyancing/home-buying process quarters, there’s a distinct focus on what the next five to 10 years might bring for our sector. Our Annual Conference, which takes place on the 6th February, will focus heavily on this, and review some of the business models that member firms might wish to follow in the years ahead.
From a media coverage point of view, January has been a strong month, with many other industry stakeholders recognising the work the CA is currently involved in, particularly around leasehold, reservation agreements, digitisation, and the provision of upfront property information. The coverage below reflects this and we will continue to push these key messages in our future media work.
Finally, if there was one article, we’d like to draw your attention to, it’s the CA’s ‘Dirty Dozen’ questions that leasehold buyers should be asking. Put together by Beth Rudolf and housed on the Leasehold Knowledge Partnership site, it is a strong consumer piece which aims to provide clarity to those looking to purchase leasehold properties. It is definitely worth a read and a share.
