It has been a month when political matters have dominated the general discourse, and the housing and property market is essentially no different to that, with plenty for the Association to get its teeth into, and a Levelling Up White Paper on the horizon which is likely to give us all more to chew over.
Cladding and leasehold inactivity have been the key areas of focus for the CA in January, with the launch of the Guidance for member firms on Cladding, and a call on Government to implement the leasehold measures it has already announced from a wide array of property market stakeholders.
In the media we’ve also been talking about technology and the property process, plus continuing to focus on upfront information and what should be included.
