David is a Senior Solicitor and Head of Conveyancing at Kiteleys solicitors. He qualified at Winward Fearon in London before moving on to Glanvilles Solicitors in Portsmouth. He then moved to Battens solicitors and became a salaried partner and then in 2005 co-founded BPL solicitors limited in Poundbury, Dorset which went on to become one of the largest conveyancing companies in the country. He was Managing Director and shareholder until he left in April 2020 to start his current role at Kiteleys . As well as managing and mentoring his department, his role mainly focuses on real life conveyancing and the need to balance new technology with the service that clients have a right to expect. David enjoys helping clients achieve their move knowing that they have been professionally guided and given all the information and, crucially all the advice, that they need to make an informed decision.
He has maintained his passion for conveyancing over the years becoming involved with Conveyancing at a National level through various contributions both to industry events and national projects and crucially as part of the Conveyancing Association. He has been a member of their Policy and Standards Board inputting directly to lenders and government to try and affect change for the better within the industry as a whole and improvement of the home moving process.
In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, spending time with family friends and his dogs and occasionally plays the odd round of very bad golf. In the winter he goes shooting and works with his badly trained Labrador.
