At the start of October, the CA followed up the launch of a new Digital Conveyancing Protocol and the revamped Technical Protocol, with our updated Conveyancing Pledges document that can be downloaded from this site. Coverage on the relaunch of the Pledges can be found below.

It was also World Mental Health Day during October and, as a profession which is often deemed one of the most stressful in the property market, it is important that conveyancing firms know how to handle these issues and they are able to offer the necessary support and resources that are a must these days. Please read Beth Rudolf’s article in Today’s Conveyancer on this.

Finally, as Nicky Heathcote points out in her regular website blog, it is important to maintain positivity and to ensure that excellence in the sector is highlighted and rewarded. Awards season is currently underway and many member firms will be picking up some much-deserved accolades, after what has undoubtedly been a challenging year to date.
