With the Budget having been well and truly digested at the end of October, this…
With the DCLG’s consultation on leasehold closing in September, this month was always going to be heavily fixated on our own response to that consultation, what we would be calling for, and our plans to help deliver real (and necessary) reform in this area.
In the lead up to the consultation closing, we used our media presence to generate comment and debate about, what we believe, is required and issued our official response to the DCLG in mid-September, letting the media know the main points of that response soon after.
In other news we are looking forward to the ESTAS Conveyancing Awards, sponsored by the CA, which will take place next month and it was pleasing to see a number of CA member firms nominated for those awards.
We will soon be announcing full details of our annual conference and dinner which takes place again in Stamford Bridge in London. It promises to be a full-packed agenda with a focus on the long-term future of conveyancing and what that might look like in 2030.
